Arthritis is the leading crippling disorder in the United States. Doctors consider it as the most common chronic disease in the age group of 40 and beyond. It brings suffering and pain to over 40 million Americans. The Center for Disease Control predicts that the figure can increase to 60 million by 2020.Arthritis usually attacks men and women between the ages of 20 and 50. However, it can strike at all ages including infants. Studies show that the early stages of the attack begin at 47 years old. About three out of every five arthritis sufferers age below 65 years.
